I bought a used merlin chest-arm and a glidecam 4000, some guy makes an adapter. Works great for a DLSR rig

That’s probably what I would do, I’ve just seen a recent trend in sub $500 rigs trying to be a bunch of other things that make me nervous about the actual quality of the rig overall. Also, I’m just now realizing that I don’t follow you because I’m a huge idiot who’s bad at things, so I’ll fix that.
